With several years of experience in social media and website management, I am open to opportunities to create content for positive social change.

SOCIAL MEDIA CO-ORDINATION + STRATEGY
NELLIE'S BABY BOUTIQUE | FEB-OCT 2018
I worked on digital marketing strategies to increase interactions with the local community, boost sales, and improve platform synergy.
INSTAGRAM: management of a business profile with 25,000 followers; our largest platform. Creation/curation of original product photos for visually appealing, seasonal Layouts and Instagram Stories. Managing customer relations through personalised responses to comments and messages.
FACEBOOK: management of our Facebook business page and profile through creating and curating content, and managing customer relations. Tailoring output to the localised customer based our Facebook page had (compared with our national/international following on Instagram).
WORDPRESS E-COMMERCE: Uploading new products, and updating stock levels, using a Wordpress E-Commerce plugin on our business website. Independently operating all stages of e-commerce: product photography, new stock profiles and manually updating stock figures.
PROGRAMME MEDIA coordination
STEP UP PROGRAMME | 2015-2017
I independently re-branded and managed the website for a Saturday School Programme, whilst working there as a mentor.
The website served multiple functions and audiences: to provide evidence of the work we do to the programme's sponsor; to inform parents and guardians about term dates and activities; and to create an archive of photos that pupils could look back on.
In addition to designing and maintaining the website, I also independently ran the other media operations. I was the photographer and videographer for the Programme, producing an archive of media materials including 'highlights' videos for each year group.
THE BIBLIOMANIAC BOOK BLOG | 2011-2017
I created a book blog at eleven years old. What started as a personal project to record my reading, quickly became a popular resource for children's and young adult book recommendations.
Over the seven years it was active, I amassed over 1000 email subscribers, and a significant following via social media.
The popularity of my blog meant that I was frequently contacted by children's and young adult fiction publishers to review new titles, and attend publishing events.
Through this endeavour, I taught myself basic skills in blogging, graphic design and marketing. I also gained valuable insight into the publishing industry.
